Evil Geniuses win first match in CEVO play
Evil Geniuses won their first "Counter-Strike 1.6" CEVO contest, defeating Paragon of Virtue, 16-5 on Thursday.
EG, which features eSports Player of the Year candidate Jordan Gilbert, had an 11-4 advantage at halftime.
The match was played on de_train.
EG had just 49 deaths over the 21 rounds played, and all five players were positive in the kill-death ratio.
Gilbert was plus-12, while teammate Scott Cavallero was plus-16. Cavallero had 24 kills, one more than Gilbert.
EG's next match is scheduled to take place sometime before Monday, when it faces x3o. The match will also be played on de_train.
